On October 7, 2025 the Creative Arts and Dramatics Society (CADS), in collaboration with ORIC, organised a focused Drama Workshop that drew enthusiastic participation from students eager to strengthen their stagecraft and production skills.
Mr. Basharat Jaffery, Senior Producer and Instructor at PTV Academy, led the session and brought decades of practical experience in drama, music, documentary making and lighting direction to the workshop. His demonstrations and explanations highlighted key elements of dramatic storytelling as well as technical considerations that shape a successful performance.
Participants responded actively to the practical elements of the Drama Workshop, gaining clear insights into drama production processes and performance techniques. The session emphasised both creative expression and the behind-the-scenes work required to mount effective dramatic presentations, leaving attendees better prepared to pursue further creative projects.
