**Pakistan and Canada Join Forces to Empower Women and Foster Socioeconomic Development**
The Pakistan-Canada partnership took a significant step forward during a recent meeting between representatives of the High Commission of Canada in Pakistan and the Pakistan Stakeholders Council (PSC). Far more than a routine collaboration, the gathering served as a dynamic forum to explore sustainable solutions that empower women and uplift communities across Pakistan.
Key topics at the meeting included women’s financial empowerment, preservation and revival of indigenous crafts, support for youth entrepreneurship, and bolstering maternal health services. Participants emphasized the shared commitment to fostering opportunities that ensure every Pakistani woman has the resources and support she needs to thrive.
The evening concluded with an inclusive dinner, reflecting the unity and mutual purpose of both organizations. Members from Kashf Foundation—Roshaneh Zafar, Amna Kausar, Shahzad Iqbal, and Bushra Khanum—joined Sasha Oliveira and Luke Myers from Global Affairs Canada (GAC) to reaffirm their dedication to driving meaningful progress for Pakistani women.
Leaders from both sides praised the evolving partnership, commending GAC’s ongoing support in championing women’s rights and social development in Pakistan. The collaboration signals a powerful commitment to walking the path of change together, creating lasting impact in the lives of Pakistani women, their families, and communities.
