On 30 December, the Central Muslim League held its foundation day and oath-taking ceremony at the party’s central secretariat in Rawalpindi. The gathering marked an organizational milestone as newly elected officeholders took their vows to advance the party’s mission.
Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob (Joint Secretary) recalled that foundation day commemorates the historic moment when Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah founded the All-India Muslim League. He stressed that the Central Muslim League was formed on the same ideology and continues to act as a guardian of the Pakistan idea.
Ehsan Ullah Mansoor (President Islamabad Zone) said the Central Muslim League presents a practical model of service, principled politics and public welfare. He emphasized that party workers are the real asset and announced a drive to strengthen the organization down to union council level.
Shahbaz Rajput (President Central Muslim League Rawalpindi) outlined plans to make the party more organized, active and people-friendly in Rawalpindi. He described the oath-taking as a sign of organizational stability that will inject new energy into the grassroots.
Engineer Mubeen Siddiqi (General Secretary Central Muslim League Rawalpindi) said the party’s politics is focused on service rather than the pursuit of power. He added that the Central Muslim League will expand welfare projects, public outreach and organizational activities to deliver tangible relief to the public.
The ceremony concluded with newly elected officials taking their oaths and pledging to carry forward the Central Muslim League’s agenda of service and strengthened local organization across Rawalpindi and Islamabad zone.
