Dr Ehsan Ghani, CEO Health, carried out a detailed inspection of the Maryam Nawaz Clinic in Chountra today to assess how the facility is delivering on the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision for accessible rural healthcare. The visit focused on ensuring that services meet provincial standards and that residents receive reliable primary care close to home.
During the visit Dr Ghani examined the availability of essential medicines, evaluated the presence and performance of medical staff and observed cleanliness and patient care practices across the clinic. The assessment aimed to confirm that the Maryam Nawaz Clinic is stocked appropriately, staffed effectively and maintaining hygienic conditions for outpatient and basic treatment services.
The Health Department reiterated its commitment to providing state of the art health facilities at the doorstep of local communities, with regular oversight to sustain service quality. Officials said continued monitoring and support will ensure the Maryam Nawaz Clinic remains responsive to the needs of Chountra’s rural population.
