Chaudhry Riaz hosted a lavish iftar in Islamabad attended by Azad Kashmir and national leaders; read about guests and political discussions.

Islamabad witnessed a high-profile iftar hosted by Chaudhry Riaz, a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party, which brought together leading political figures from across Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. The gathering included Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, former president and prime minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqub Khan, and former prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan.

Senior party colleagues from the Pakistan Peoples Party attended the dinner, among them Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari, former federal minister Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Kaira and PPP information secretary Nadeem Afzal Chan. The event also saw the presence of Azad Kashmir government figures including Senior Minister Mian Abdul Waheed Advocate and ministers Chaudhry Qasim Majeed, Sardar Zia ul Qamar, Syed Bazil Ali Naqvi, Chaudhry Rafiq Nayyer, Malik Muhammad Zafar, Javed Iqbal Budhanvi, Nabeela Ayub and Chaudhry Ali Khan Soni.

Advisers and legislators joined the host in Islamabad, with attendees such as Sardar Ahmed Sagheer, MPA Professor Taqdees Gilani, former deputy speaker Shahin Dar, former federal minister Firdous Ashiq Awan, MPA Javed Butt, Chairman of the Ulama and Mashayikh Council Sahibzada Zulfiqar Ali, Director General Political Affairs Amir Zeeshan Jarral, government spokesperson Shaukat Javed Mir, Special Assistant Syed Aizaz Hussain Kazmi and former assembly candidate Sardar Saud Sadiq among others.

During the evening, discussions focused on the current national political situation, party matters and issues of mutual interest. Guests praised the hospitality extended by Chaudhry Riaz and described such gatherings as important for fostering political harmony and strengthening ties among leaders across the region.
