CTO Rawalpindi met citizens on 13 October 2025 to address traffic issues; CTO ordered DSP Headquarters and the complaint cell to take immediate action.

On 13 October 2025 citizens met with the CTO Rawalpindi to raise concerns about ongoing traffic problems across the city and to present practical suggestions for smoother movement and commuter safety.

The CTO Rawalpindi instructed DSP Headquarters and the officer in charge of the complaint cell to take immediate measures to resolve the reported issues. The directives emphasised prompt field action, timely follow up on complaints and coordination between traffic teams to reduce congestion and improve road discipline.

Residents were informed that they may meet the CTO Rawalpindi daily between 11:00 and 12:00 to lodge complaints or offer recommendations. The scheduled meeting hour is intended to provide direct access to the office and to accelerate resolution through the complaint cell and DSP oversight.
