AI training at the Civil Services Academy strengthens digital governance and builds public sector capacity under the Digital Nation Pakistan Act.

The Civil Services Academy has launched an Artificial Intelligence 101 module to prepare future civil servants for the responsible and effective use of emerging technologies. AI training at the academy reflects the governmentโ€™s commitment to equipping public officials with the skills needed to harness AI safely and productively.

Anchored in the Digital Nation Pakistan Act, the initiative supports efforts to strengthen digital governance and enhance institutional readiness across the public sector. Integrating AI training into civil service education is intended to improve administrative efficiency, informed decision making and service delivery for citizens.

The module aligns with the National AI Policy by prioritising human capacity building and the ethical, responsible use of AI in government. Emphasis on transparency, accountability and safeguards aims to ensure that technology adoption produces measurable public value while mitigating risks.

By embedding AI training into the CSA curriculum, the Ministry of IT & Telecom continues to advance capability-driven reform and to make digital transformation an institutional priority. The step marks a practical move to strengthen public sector capability and to leverage technology for better governance across Pakistan.
