**Muslim Ideal School & College Students Use Art to Raise Climate Change Awareness**
In a remarkable display of creativity and activism, students from Muslim Ideal School & College participated in a Wall Painting Competition aimed at raising awareness about climate change and strengthening community resilience. The event, organized through the Youth & Volunteer Program of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Gilgit-Baltistan (PRCS GB), turned the front wall of the local airport into a canvas for environmental advocacy.
Using vibrant colors and compelling visuals, the young artists conveyed powerful messages of hope, resilience, and environmental responsibility. The artwork not only demonstrated their artistic talents but also served as a visible reminder to the community of the urgent need for climate-conscious action.
Prizes were awarded to the top three students, whose paintings stood out for their professional quality and impactful messaging. Winners were selected by a committee that evaluated the entries based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall visual impact.
Organizers and community leaders hailed the initiative as an important step towards empowering youth in climate advocacy. By transforming public spaces with meaningful art, the project inspires both artists and viewers to engage more deeply with issues of environmental stewardship and urban resilience.
