The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Gilgit-Baltistan branch recently collaborated with students from Muslim Ideal School and College to host a creative wall painting competition, aiming to raise awareness about climate change and promote community resilience. The event transformed a public space into a vibrant display of artwork and messaging, emphasizing the importance of environmental responsibility.
Participants used the opportunity to convey powerful messages about the impact of climate change, filling the area with colorful and thought-provoking murals. A specially appointed committee evaluated the submissions on criteria such as creativity, relevance, and visual impact, ultimately awarding prizes to the top three students for their exceptional work.
The initiative showcased the vital role of youth in environmental advocacy, demonstrating how art can be an effective tool for spreading awareness and inspiring collective action within the community.
