Complete Pakistan Party urges merit, citizen adherence to law, Urdu implementation and youth empowerment to end divisive politics.

Chairman Muhammad Abdul Mateen Hashmi of the Complete Pakistan Party urged fundamental shifts in public administration and politics during a press briefing at the National Press Club in Islamabad. Speaking alongside Saifur Rehman Bhatti, Javed Iqbal and other party colleagues, Hashmi said the nation cannot progress on slogans alone and must pursue tangible development and rule of law.

Hashmi emphasized that adherence to law is not solely the government’s duty but a responsibility of every citizen, and called for noticeable improvement in the conduct of government officials. He argued that state institutions should serve the public rather than simply issue orders, and demanded the elimination of old colonial and insulting attitudes that persist in officialdom.

The Complete Pakistan Party reiterated its commitment to non-traditional politics, saying current political practice has become synonymous with blame and division. Hashmi urged an end to the divisive politics that have hindered national cohesion over the last seventy-eight years and made merit enforcement in state and semi-state bodies a core policy priority of the party.

Highlighting language access, Hashmi proposed that Urdu be implemented at an official and practical level so ordinary citizens can understand the state system and participate effectively. He linked this move to broader aims of transparency and inclusion and said such steps are essential for a stronger state founded on knowledge, ethics and responsibility within households and institutions.

On representation, the Complete Pakistan Party pledged active and meaningful roles for both women and youth. Hashmi noted the party’s pink color as a symbol of women’s inclusion and respect and promised that young people will be central to leadership, decision making and the nation-building process, including access to employment and opportunities.

Summing up the party’s vision, Hashmi said the party slogan—faith, unity, organization and justice—captures its agenda. He insisted that making Pakistan complete is not a slogan but a national responsibility achievable through practical adoption of ethics, merit, progress, unity and justice, with the Complete Pakistan Party placing these values at the heart of its platform.
