The Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH, Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, met with Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Major General (Retired) Faheem Ul Aziz, in Colombo to discuss new opportunities for collaboration focused on Sri Lankan Muslim students and young scientists.
During their discussions, Prof. Dr. Choudhary provided an overview of COMSTECH’s ongoing initiatives, outlining various programs designed to support scientific and technological development in both OIC member countries and nations with Muslim minority populations, such as Sri Lanka. The meeting explored ways that Sri Lankan youth could benefit from these programs, aiming to strengthen education and research links.
High Commissioner Aziz expressed his appreciation for COMSTECH’s innovative vision and praised Prof. Dr. Choudhary for his effective leadership at the helm of the organization. The two parties agreed to continue exploring partnerships that promote educational and scientific exchange.
