A report has been published by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), which states that all road and construction projects are being carried out in accordance with the authorized Islamabad Master Plan.

It has also been reported that the only areas with green coverings that have been removed are those that are going to have highways put in them.

According to another finding in the paper, in order to compensate for the loss of forest cover caused by tree cutting in any given area, 10 times as many new trees are planted in that area.

It is essential to keep in mind that the CDA possesses the technology necessary to relocate trees from one location to another, which is typically for the better.

Nevertheless, there are times when technical difficulties make the process difficult. An official stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the authorities to finish all development projects as rapidly as possible while also taking great care not to damage the natural environment and according to the Islamabad Master Plan.

As it relates to the MHNP, the region has not been completely delineated yet, which leads to misunderstanding regarding the park’s initial boundaries.

There are occasions when environmentalists get specific sections confused with other parts of the national park. A survey is currently being conducted to demarcate the area in its entirety; once that survey is finished, this problem will be remedied.
