The Pakistan Peoples Party will hold a condolence reference today, December 25, at 2:00pm at Press Club Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi to pay tribute to the late and long-serving party leader Ibne Mohammad Razvi. The ceremony, chaired by PPP Germany spokesman Amjad Butt, will bring together political, religious, social and business figures from the city to honour the deceased’s contributions.

Senior guests expected to address the gathering include Raja Jamil Abbasi, former High Court Justice Shah Khawar Advocate, former provincial minister Dr. Jamal Nasir, Punjab Assembly member Zia Ullah Shah and former Nazim College Road Raja Mushtaq. Prominent party and civic personalities such as Elyas Subhani, Sohail Mukhtar, Nasir Mir, Khalid Mughal, Sohail Mehdi, Raja Noor Elahi, Syed Mohsin Raza and Malik Mazhar Hussain will also pay their respects.

Speeches will reflect on Ibne Mohammad Razvi’s political and social services and his role within the local community. The event will particularly recognise his decades of dedication to party work and public causes, with speakers sharing personal memories and assessing his local impact.

Among the family attending will be the late leader’s elder brother, noted educationist Shamim Haider Syed, who will join family members and friends in receiving condolences. Organisers have announced that the reference will conclude with a collective recitation of Fatiha for the departed soul, followed by arrangements for refreshments for all attendees.
