**Pakistani American Community Hosts Luncheon in Honor of Federal and Provincial Ministers**
The Pakistani American community in New York held a well-attended luncheon to honor Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce, Investment, and Skills, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain. Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, participated in the event, which brought together Pakistani Americans from various professional backgrounds and highlighted the diaspora’s ongoing engagement with Pakistan’s progress.
During his address, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain emphasized the essential contributions of overseas Pakistanis, describing them as a “valuable national asset” for the country. He reaffirmed the government’s strong commitment to supporting Pakistanis living abroad, outlining several initiatives aimed at enhancing their welfare and ensuring comprehensive facilitation.
Provincial Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain focused on Punjab’s commitment to economic growth, detailing the province’s investment-friendly policies. He assured attendees that the Punjab government is actively working to foster an enabling environment for investors and to deliver vital amenities to citizens efficiently.
