A dinner was hosted for CPSP Council Members at the newly completed extension block of the CPSP Regional Center in Lahore, bringing together councilors from all four provinces, heads of medical institutions, vice-chancellors, senior professors, deans and faculty members.
Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, president of CPSP, said the CPSP extension has been acquired to meet the rising number of fellows and trainees while addressing long-standing parking and space constraints at the regional centre.
Guests toured the facility and expressed satisfaction with its layout and amenities, observing that the extension block will serve as a central hub for higher medical education and postgraduate training for trainees and residents from across Pakistan, and will help resolve logistical challenges faced by learners and staff.
The dinner provided an opportunity for leaders across provinces and institutions to discuss how the CPSP extension can support expanded training capacity and strengthen healthcare infrastructure, marking a notable step in the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance medical education nationwide.
