Professor Khalid Masood Gondal, President of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, visited Punjab Rangers Teaching Hospital in Lahore at the invitation of Prof Brig (R) Aftab Ahmed, the hospital’s medical superintendent. During the visit he met with faculty members including Brig (R) Mohammad Zaka Ullah, Professor Nasir Saleem and Professor Shahnaz Kausar and held an extensive interaction with postgraduate residents to discuss training priorities and clinical education.
As part of the CPSP visit, Professor Gondal delivered an engaging talk on career counselling and recent CPSP updates, followed by an interactive session with residents. He highlighted CPSP’s national and international achievements and shared a future vision focused on strengthening postgraduate training and professional development. The discussions reinforced collaboration between the college and hospital leadership to support resident progress and enhance medical education in the region.
