RAWALPINDI: Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed Chaudhry Zamurd Hussain Block at Rawalpindi Kachehri.
Speaking on the occasion, Barrister Danyal said young lawyers would be provided with necessary facilities to equip them with modern technology and artificial intelligence so they could meet the evolving demands of the legal profession.
He said special attention was being given to strengthening the professional capabilities of young lawyers. He added that IT centres and other modern facilities would help them benefit from emerging technologies, including AI, and bring their legal services in line with contemporary requirements.
Barrister Danyal said lawyers equipped with modern technology would be able to deliver legal services more efficiently and effectively. He said the initiative was aimed at aligning the legal community with changing professional needs and promoting digital facilities in the legal sector.
The parliamentary secretary said the introduction of a modern bar management system would improve the administrative affairs of the bar and make service delivery for lawyers more efficient.
He described the Chaudhry Zamurd Hussain Block as a significant addition to the infrastructure of the Kachehri, saying it would provide a better working environment for lawyers and litigants.
The event was attended by Rawalpindi Bar Association President Tariq Mehmood Sajid Awan, Vice President Shazia Hashmi, General Secretary Qamar-ul-Haq Niazi, Joint Secretary Ahsan Manjh, former president Raja Nasir, Advocate High Court Shahid Sawati, Senior Advocate Supreme Court Malik Israr, Advocate Dr Arshad, Advocate Tayyab Pakhral, Advocate Raja Shafiq, Advocate Nadeem Akhtar Bhatti and a large number of lawyers.
