On 12 December 2025 Deputy Commissioner South Upper Waziristan Ismatullah Wazir handed over CVC compensation checks worth Rs300,000 each to the families of three injured residents. The CVC compensation was distributed as immediate financial assistance to support medical care and rehabilitation under provincial directives.
The distribution followed special instructions from the provincial government aimed at fast-tracking relief for injured citizens. Each family received a check of Rs300,000 to address urgent needs while longer-term rehabilitation measures are planned.
The Deputy Commissioner said timely assistance and prompt redress remain the district administration’s top priority. He emphasised that the CVC compensation payments and all related relief measures are being carried out with full transparency, in accordance with rules and on merit to ensure fair access to aid.
The district administration reiterated its commitment to mobilise all available resources for public welfare and to provide every possible facilitation to the affected families during the relief process. Officials said the administration will continue to monitor the restoration and rehabilitation progress for those receiving CVC compensation.
