Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Dr. Musadik Malik has strongly condemned the recent incident of deer hunting in the Margalla Hills, ordering an immediate investigation and strict action against the responsible parties.

The Minister took swift notice following the appearance of a disturbing video on media platforms, which showed a deer being cruelly hunted and killed within the protected territory of Margalla Hills. Expressing deep disappointment, Dr. Malik emphasized that such blatant violations of wildlife protection and hunting regulations will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

In response, he has promptly directed the relevant departments and authorities to thoroughly investigate the event and submit a comprehensive report as soon as possible. The inquiry aims to pinpoint responsibility, highlight lapses in enforcement, and propose immediate corrective actions.

Dr. Malik has reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to protecting wildlife and conserving natural habitats. He stressed that conservation laws must be respected at all times, signaling that those involved in the incident will face severe consequences if found guilty.
