Islamabad: The revision of the Master plan for Islamabad has been put on hold since the government has shown little interest in approving the nomination of commission members.

Because of the passivity of the government, an urgent revision of the master plan has been put on hold, which has led to frustration among authorities who are concerned about the impact this will have on the growth of the city.

The Commission for Development Alternatives (CDA) voted in favor of awarding an honorarium of Rs25,000 to each commission member who attended the meetings.

The update of the master plan is absolutely necessary for the continued growth of Islamabad and the territories immediately surrounding it.

It will ensure that the environment is maintained while also ensuring that the city’s infrastructure is able to fulfill the demands of the city’s rising population.
