Pakistan exports to Denmark jumped to $300m in FY2024–25, opening new market opportunities and stronger bilateral trade ties.

Pakistan exports to Denmark recorded a notable surge, reaching USD 300 million in FY 2024–25, up from USD 190 million in FY 2022–23, with a 32% rise reported in the most recent fiscal year. The upward momentum highlights Denmark’s growing role as an important destination for Pakistani goods.

Denmark’s advanced economy and rising demand for quality textiles and sustainable products have created fresh opportunities for Pakistani manufacturers and exporters. Suppliers across Pakistan’s textile value chain have been able to meet buyer expectations on product quality and environmental standards, strengthening trade ties between the two countries.

A significant contribution came from the textile sector, where Danish fashion major Bestseller increased its sourcing from Pakistan, citing consistent product quality and compliance with labour and environmental norms. Officials point to active facilitation by the Embassy of Pakistan in Copenhagen and a business-friendly visa regime that have helped expand business-to-business linkages and professional exchanges.

With Denmark now ranked among Pakistan’s top 25 export destinations, trade experts say its strategic position in Northern Europe offers Pakistani exporters a gateway to the broader Scandinavian market. Stakeholders hope this momentum will lead to deeper economic cooperation and expanded investment and trade partnerships going forward.
