During the Denmark visit, a delegation from the Embassy of Denmark and the Denmark Ministry of Foreign Affairs toured UNHCR and IOM Pakistan programmes to observe services for refugees and asylum-seekers across the country. The delegation met with national partners to review on-the-ground efforts that protect vulnerable families and promote self-reliance.
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, alongside IOM Pakistan and local partners including the Ministry of States and Frontier Regions and Inspire Pakistan, demonstrated community-based protection, registration support and pathways to assistance. The visit allowed the Danish team to witness how coordinated action translates into practical protection and empowerment for displaced people in Pakistan.
Officials highlighted the importance of sustained international cooperation, noting that Denmark visit support has been crucial during recent crises. Continued funding and diplomatic engagement help maintain vital services and strengthen the capacity of Pakistani partners to respond when needs surge.
Representatives from UNHCR and IOM Pakistan expressed deep appreciation for Denmark’s solidarity, saying that the partnership helps restore dignity and build resilience for those forced to flee. The delegation’s visit reinforced commitments to protect refugees and asylum-seekers while advancing collaborative solutions within Pakistan.
