DHO Islamabad Inspects Police Lines Dispensary

DHO Islamabad reviewed services at Police Lines Dispensary and planned EPI, dengue control and training collaborations to strengthen local healthcare.

Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool, serving as DHO Islamabad, visited Fatima Memorial Dispensary located at the Police Lines Headquarters accompanied by Mr. Abdul Haque Umrani, AIG Logistics. The visit provided an on-site opportunity to assess the dispensaryโ€™s service delivery and patient care arrangements.

During the visit the District Health Officer commended the Islamabad Capital Police for their initiatives to enhance healthcare services at the dispensary. DHO Islamabad praised efforts to streamline services and noted the importance of sustained cooperation between health authorities and police management to benefit staff and the wider community in the capital.

Discussions focused on concrete opportunities for collaboration in the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), dengue control measures and capacity-building trainings to support ongoing healthcare initiatives. Both sides agreed to pursue coordinated steps to improve preventive services and training support to strengthen public health outcomes in Islamabad.
