The National Information Technology Board (NITB) conducted a productive meeting with representatives from key federal departments, aiming to accelerate digital integration and improve public service delivery across Pakistan under the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP).
Representatives from pivotal federal entities including the Federal Board of Revenue, the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, and the Ministry of Commerce participated actively in the dialogue hosted by NITB. The session aimed to reinforce collaboration among government departments, enabling a cohesive and unified approach to the country’s digital transformation initiatives.
During the discussion, NITB’s Project Director outlined the primary objectives of DEEP along with the broader vision underpinning the proposed National Citizen Portal. Highlighting the transformative potential of digital integration, the Director emphasized how the portal will streamline public services and extend greater convenience to the citizens of Pakistan.
