Sohail Mahmood, Director General and Ambassador, attended the 20th anniversary celebration of the “World of Diplomacy” journal, an event organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). Ambassador Mahmood delivered remarks on the theme “Current International Developments & Future Multilateral Cooperation,” highlighting the need for strengthened global partnerships in an evolving international landscape.
During the visit, Ambassador Mahmood held discussions with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov. The two officials exchanged views on recent international trends, collaborative opportunities, and the importance of robust multilateral engagement.
In addition to his participation in the event, Ambassador Mahmood visited the city of Shusha, which has been recently liberated. The visit underscored the significance of peace and reconstruction efforts in the region, and reflected Pakistan’s support for Azerbaijan’s initiatives.
