The Pakistan Hindu Council marked the Festival of Lights with a Diwali celebration and a special ration distribution drive at PHC House, bringing festive cheer and practical assistance to families in need. The Diwali celebration combined traditional observances with community outreach as organisers handed out essential food supplies from the council premises.
Honourable former presidents Raja Assar Mal, Hotchand Karmani and Gopal Das Khumani attended, accompanied by Prem Talreja, Vice President Paman Lal Rathi, Finance Secretary Vikram Lal Rathi and Chief Coordinator Kirshan Sagar. Senior members Dr. Deepak Kumar, Tarachand Laasi, Guddu Shahani and Aneela Rathi also graced the occasion, participating in the distribution and greeting attendees.
The ration distribution underscored the council’s commitment to community support during the Diwali celebration, reflecting a blend of festive spirit and social responsibility.
