Dr Nafisa Shah reaffirms Pakistan Peoples Party support for Kashmir's right to self-determination on Kashmir Black Day, honoring long-standing sacrifices.

On 27 October, senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader and National Assembly member Dr Nafisa Shah delivered a message marking Kashmir Black Day, paying tribute to the Kashmiri people for decades of resilience in the face of oppression. She said the day reminds Pakistanis of the sacrifices made by those who have stood firm against injustice and repression.

Dr Nafisa Shah reiterated that the Pakistan Peoples Party, from the era of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto through the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has consistently supported the Kashmiri demand for the right to self-determination. She described Kashmir Black Day as an occasion to renew that commitment and to amplify the call for justice.

Paying homage to the perseverance of Kashmiri families, Dr Nafisa Shah saluted their courage and sacrifice and stressed that Kashmir remains central to Pakistan’s national sentiment. She said the people of Kashmir continue their struggle with unwavering resolve and deserve the world’s attention and solidarity.

Dr Nafisa Shah also highlighted that the events of 27 October mark a painful chapter when Indian forces intensified actions against Kashmiri aspirations, and she urged continued political and moral support for the cause. The Pakistan Peoples Party reaffirmed its role as a vocal advocate for Kashmiris and pledged to keep their right to self-determination at the forefront of political dialogue.
