Islamabad, September 25, 2025 — The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan and the Department of Pharmacy at Quaid-i-Azam University signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen cooperation in training, research and professional development for pharmacy students.
The MoU was formally executed by Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University, and Dr. Obaidullah, Chief Executive Officer of DRAP, establishing a framework for joint activities under the DRAP QAU partnership that target practical learning and regulatory exposure.
Dr. Obaidullah reaffirmed DRAP’s commitment to supporting QAU students through practical training programs, internships and capacity-building initiatives, noting these measures will help students gain valuable exposure to the regulatory and professional dimensions of pharmacy.
