On 16 August 2025 Ducky Bhai, a Pakistani YouTuber with a 9.1 million-strong subscriber base, was arrested by the FIA at the airport while leaving for an event in Malaysia with his wife. The detention and subsequent legal battle kept him out of public view for months and attracted wide attention among local digital audiences.
He spent three difficult months in jail and, according to his account, paid heavy extortion money to an FIA officer who was later suspended. The YouTuber was released at the end of November on bail and initially remained silent, but has now begun to speak out about his experience.
In a newly uploaded vlog Ducky Bhai laid out the timeline of his arrest and thanked his immediate family for standing by him. He praised his mother, father, wife and siblings for their constant presence and support during the ordeal, describing how their visits and encouragement helped him through the toughest days.
Speaking in the vlog he said, “In these hundred days, no one came to help me except my family. My mother had a very tough time visiting the court at this age. It wasn’t her duty to go there because she’s not a lawyer or any official, but she still came for me. She would wait for hours just to get a one-second glimpse of me. She didn’t miss a single day. Nowadays, when loyalty has become a joke, Aroob stood firm for me. She used to argue with men in the courts — who does that? Zia was with me, and my father constantly sent prayers and reminded me that nothing matters more than me.”
Addressing rumours that he would leave Pakistan, Ducky Bhai told viewers that the three-month period would not push him to go abroad. He said he has seen good times in his career and does not intend to leave the country over this episode.
He confirmed he is pursuing the matter through legal channels and asked followers to await updates as the case continues. The vlog serves both as a personal account of his detention and a public record of the support his family provided during the crisis.
