Officials examined the technical and procedural requirements needed to ensure secure digital workflows through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System.
The session included representatives from the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Islamabad and the Bank of Punjab alongside Punjab Information Technology Board officials, with Sajid Latif, DG e-Governance, and Ashfaq Tiwana, Joint Director e-Procurement, participating in the discussions. Attendees reviewed coordination needs, data exchange protocols and timelines for system connectivity.
Participants discussed the planned rollout of Bank of Punjab e-PADS integration for securities and the introduction of online reporting features to support the digitized process. Stakeholders said the initiative is an important step toward digitizing public procurement in Punjab and strengthening inter-agency collaboration to improve governance.
