The Swiss Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Georg Steiner, recently brought together Swiss and Pakistani scientists and practitioners for a collaborative event focused on advancing engineering solutions to enhance earthquake resilience. Organized in partnership with the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the event served as a platform for exchanging ideas and forging connections among experts dedicated to reducing the risks associated with earthquakes.
