In an effort to ensure every child’s constitutional right to free and compulsory education between the ages of 5 and 16, Taleem Network Pakistan (TNP), a subsidiary of the Nazriya-e-Pakistan Council (NPC), has announced plans to initiate two informal schools. This decision emerged during the Board of Directors’ meeting chaired by Senator Razina Alam Khan, Chairperson of TNP, who emphasized the necessity of collective and committed efforts by all stakeholders.

Addressing the board meeting, Chairperson Senator Razina Alam Khan reaffirmed education as a constitutional guarantee and stressed the collective responsibility of society to fulfil this crucial national obligation. She said, “It is our duty to illuminate our share of responsibility,” highlighting her personal commitment and honor in realizing the vision of the founder and former Chairman of the Nazriya-e-Pakistan Council, the late Zahid Malik.

Several notable members attended the meeting, including Senior Executive Member Salahuddin Chaudhry, Nargis Nasir, Founder and Central President of Islamabad’s Private Schools Network and Secretary-General TNP Dr. Muhammad Afzal Babar, education expert Dr. Muhammad Saleem, NPC Director Administration Malik Hamid Sultan, Director Media and Programs Hameed Qaiser, and Director Marketing Imtiaz Ali Qureshi.

During the session, Dr. Muhammad Saleem presented well-developed educational charts focused on vital topics such as the founding fathers of Pakistan, Islamic ideology, the Two-Nation Theory, the Objectives Resolution, and the Pakistan freedom movement. Following final approval, these charts will be displayed prominently across all public and private educational institutions.

The Board also reviewed reports presented by Dr. Muhammad Afzal Babar detailing progress on establishing two informal schools, unanimously approving the initiative. Director of Administration Malik Hamid Sultan informed the Chairperson that the budget required for TNP’s 2024-25 programs has already been secured within the organization’s account.

To ensure timely implementation, board members agreed to complete foundational work at both informal schools by July, expediting the operational commencement of these educational facilities.
