**FOSPAH Trains CERP’s Inquiry Committee on Handling Workplace Harassment Cases**

The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection against Harassment (FOSPAH) recently organized an intensive training session for members of the Inquiry Committee at the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), aiming to enhance their ability to manage workplace harassment cases effectively and sensitively.

The workshop was led by FOSPAH’s Legal Advisor, Ms. Mah Rukh Aziz, and Law Officer, Mr. Shazib Iqbal. It featured a combination of real-life case insights and interactive case studies drawn from FOSPAH’s extensive experience. Participants engaged in practical exercises and discussions, allowing them to better understand the procedural framework and complexities involved in workplace harassment inquiries.

The training emphasized the importance of legal accuracy, procedural clarity, and empathetic handling of sensitive cases. By equipping inquiry committee members with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, FOSPAH seeks to foster a culture of accountability and legal compliance within organizations.

According to FOSPAH, such initiatives play a vital role in promoting safer work environments, as well-informed committees are essential for ensuring transparency and upholding justice in cases of workplace harassment.
