The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) in Islamabad marked the 1500th celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi with an Urdu speech competition that brought together students from across the country to reflect on the Prophet’s teachings of tolerance and brotherhood.
Held at the FBISE auditorium, the competition centered on the theme “Tolerance and Brotherhood – The Practical Message of the Prophetic Biography.” More than 107 students from FBISE-affiliated institutions participated, delivering speeches that were noted for their passion and thoughtful engagement with the theme.
Participants represented a wide range of schools and colleges affiliated with the board, showcasing linguistic skill and understanding of the Prophet’s example in fostering social harmony and mutual respect.
The top three prizes were awarded to Raja Rehan Haider of FG Degree College for Men, Wah Cantt; Zeeshan Qadir of Sultana Foundation Boys High School, Islamabad; and Sumayya Fatima of Bahria College, Naval Complex, Islamabad. Winners received certificates and cash prizes in recognition of their performances.
Mr. Mirza Ali, Director (Test Development) at FBISE, served as the chief guest and presented the awards. FBISE officials extended congratulations to all participants and praised the event for promoting civic values and communal unity among young people.
