**Sindh Education Department Reviews Progress of EMO Project in PPP Meeting**

The School Education & Literacy Department’s Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Node, Government of Sindh, held a high-level meeting to review the progress of the Education Management Organization (EMO) Project, RFP No. 7. Chaired by Senior Director Mr. Ashiq Hussain Khoso, the meeting brought together department officials and representatives from EMO partner organizations to assess quarterly achievements and ongoing challenges under the project.

Officials in attendance included Dr. Ashiq Hussain Memon (Director Administration), Mr. Rabbat Ali (Director Legal), Mr. Abdul Razzuaq (Director HR & Accounts), Mr. Waqar Latif Soomro (Program Manager), Mr. Sajid Hussain (Assistant Director), and Mr. Beburg (Program Coordinator). Representatives from EMO partner organizations—Sindh Madressatul Islam Board (SMB), CFC Pakistan, Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO), and Rural Development Foundation (RDF)—also participated and provided detailed updates.

Each EMO partner presented a comprehensive, package-wise review of their quarterly progress, highlighting performance achievements in accordance with the roles and responsibilities set forth in the Concession Agreement. The meeting’s agenda focused on several critical components of the project, including academic outcomes, teacher deployment, infrastructure improvements, compliance matters, teacher training initiatives, and community engagement activities.

EMOs managing multiple packages offered individualized presentations for each, ensuring that the unique progress and challenges of every area were addressed. The session featured active deliberation over how to overcome obstacles and enhance project performance moving forward.

In his concluding remarks, Senior Director Mr. Khoso commended the EMO teams for their commitment and progress. He emphasized the ongoing need for transparency, accountability, and rigorous monitoring to achieve the project’s targets and deliver quality education under the PPP framework.
