**EPA Punjab’s Emissions Testing System Reaches 200,000 Cars Milestone**

The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) of Punjab has announced a significant achievement, with its Emissions Testing System surpassing the milestone of 200,000 vehicles tested. The initiative, aimed at promoting cleaner air and a greener environment in the province, received recognition at a celebratory event attended by key officials.

The ceremony was marked by the presence of Secretary EP&CCD, Ms. Silwat Saeed, and Director General EPA, Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh, who participated in a cake-cutting to commemorate the accomplishment. Additional Secretary (Technical) Ms. Shumaila Manzoor, Additional Secretary (Administration) Mr. Imran Akram Chauhan, and Project Director SP&IU, Mr. Tariq Hussain Bhatti, were also in attendance, underscoring the importance of the project within the department.

The Emissions Testing System is a flagship program of EPA Punjab, designed to monitor vehicle emissions and help curb air pollution, thereby improving public health and supporting sustainable environmental practices. Officials highlighted the continued commitment of EPA Punjab to enhance environmental standards and advance the goal of a cleaner, greener province.
