Exam Security Strengthened in Rawalpindi and Chakwal

Exam Security tightened as controller inspects Rawalpindi and Chakwal centres for Intermediate Part One Annual 2025 with strict SOPs and zero tolerance.

Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan carried out emergency inspections of examination centres and marking centres for the Intermediate Part One Annual 2025 to reinforce Exam Security across Rawalpindi and Chakwal. Visits included Government Associate College Dhok Kala Khan Rawalpindi, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Dhok Kashmirian Rawalpindi, Government Boys High School Dhok Kashmirian Rawalpindi and Government Graduate College for Boys Panwal Road Chakwal.

During the inspections he reviewed the functionality of CCTV cameras, overall security arrangements, paper checking systems and adherence to exam SOPs. The controller stressed that the Punjab government’s zero tolerance policy is being implemented strictly and that no candidate, invigilator or marking staff will be permitted to violate prescribed procedures.

Tanveer Asghar Awan said focused strategies and improved monitoring have delivered notable success in dismantling the booti mafia that targeted examination integrity. He noted that board directives are being followed by examination teams and marking centre staff, ensuring checks are conducted professionally and without improper interference.

Candidates are being provided with facilities designed to promote a peaceful, transparent and conducive exam environment, while special measures at marking centres aim to maintain high standards in paper checking and to prevent undue influence on results.

Board spokesperson Arslan Ali Cheema confirmed the inspections and reiterated the board’s commitment to maintaining robust Exam Security and fair assessment procedures across all centres.
