An exclusive bloggers’ meet-up in Karachi on October 13 brought together leading members of Pakistan’s digital community to preview the upcoming drama Dil Dhoondta Hai Phir Wohi and to engage with Express Entertainment’s evolving programming vision.

Express Entertainment reiterated its commitment to originality and quality storytelling, explaining how renewed emphasis on creativity and diverse narratives is shaping the channel’s schedule. The channel presented the new title as an example of programming that aims to combine emotional depth with cinematic finesse.

The project, produced by Alpha Productions, reflects the creative passion of Asad Siddiqui and the layered writing of Rida Bilal. Dil Dhoondta Hai follows the lives of Ali and Ramsha, two lovers whose relationship is tested when Ali is diagnosed with early-onset dementia, and charts Ramsha’s struggle to preserve their bond as memories begin to fade.

Directed by Adnan Sarwar, the series features strong performances from Zara Noor Abbas and Zahid Ahmed, with an ensemble that includes Rubina Ashraf, Faizan Shaikh, Mohammad Ahmed and Naureen Gulwani. Each actor brings warmth and authenticity to a story that examines the limits of love, resilience and memory.

The soundtrack deepens the drama’s emotional tone with Momin Khan Momin’s kalaam “Wo Jo Hum Mein Tum Mein Qarar Tha” rendered by Zeeshan Ali, a soulful accompaniment designed to amplify the series’ themes of longing and devotion.

Organisers highlighted the important role Pakistan’s digital creators play in shaping modern television, noting that blogger feedback helps refine content that resonates with contemporary audiences. The meet-up reaffirmed Express Entertainment’s focus on creative dialogue and on producing work that seeks to redefine storytelling for Pakistani viewers.
