Senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Chaudhry Abdul Majid, a former secretary general of PPP Midland Birmingham and a noted businessman from Chak Suwari in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, commended the public enthusiasm and party-organized events marking the martyrdom anniversary of Benazir Bhutto. Chaudhry Abdul Majid expressed full confidence in the party leadership, particularly in President Asif Ali Zardari, for a successful political strategy. He praised the president for standing firm under pressure and for steering a just course in a tense security environment while acknowledging the professional role of Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir. According to him, such decisive and balanced leadership reflects the qualities of a shrewd and capable leader.

On the occasion of Faisal Rathore becoming Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Abdul Majid extended his heartfelt congratulations and said Faisal Rathore has embraced Benazir Bhutto’s service-oriented ethos from the outset.
