Federal Minister launches Quality Education Roadmap to transform FDE schools through digital learning, policy reform and stronger learning environments.

ISLAMABAD December 30, 2025 — Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui formally launched the FDE Quality Education and Innovation Roadmap today in a ceremony attended by senior education officials. The event brought together the Federal Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Mr Nadeem Mahbub; Director General, Federal Directorate of Education, Syed Junaid Akhlaq; and representatives of the Project Coordination Unit and other FDE leadership.

Mr Nadeem Mahbub said the Quality Education Roadmap is closely aligned with the national vision to ensure equity and quality in education. He explained the roadmap is structured around five interconnected pillars designed to deliver systemic and sustainable reforms across FDE schools and to guide practical action at school and administrative levels.

The minister and senior officials highlighted that the roadmap emphasizes Digital and Innovative Learning, Policy Formulation and Review and creating an Enabling Learning Environment, among other strategic priorities. Attendees noted the plan aims to strengthen policy processes, introduce innovative teaching approaches and improve conditions that support learning in federal schools.

The launch of the Quality Education Roadmap signals a coordinated effort to translate policy intent into concrete measures within the FDE system. Officials said the roadmap will serve as the framework for implementing reforms aimed at raising the quality and inclusiveness of education under the Federal Directorate of Education.
