FIA Investigates Alleged Irregularities in Additional Stories Allotment by CDA

Islamabad : The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has had some of its personnel called in by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to provide testimony regarding claims of irregularities and illegalities that occurred during the awarding of additional stories to a commercial building in G-9.

After a complaint, known as Case FIR 04-2021, was filed against CDA officers and officials, the FIA began looking into the matter and sent a notice to these officers, both active and retired, instructing them to appear before the agency.

The investigation is centered on charges that irregularities and illegalities happened during the process of allotting additional stories to Plot No. 14-A in G-9 Markaz Islamabad. The plot in question is known as “Plot No. 14-A.” The Islamabad-based FIA inspector has requested that the officials make their statements based on the data and information that is now accessible to them.
