Computer Arts Thesis Display 2025 at FJWU Highlights Innovation

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) inaugurated its Computer Arts Thesis Display 2025, showcasing an impressive collection of innovative projects by its graduating students. The exhibition highlighted the creativity and technical skills of the participants, underlining the university’s commitment to fostering women leaders in digital arts.

The opening ceremony was led by Dr. Bushra Mirza, Vice Chancellor of FJWU. She commended the students for their inventive and confident work, emphasizing that these projects exemplify the university’s dedication to advancing women’s roles in the field of digital arts in Pakistan.

Esteemed guest of honour Ms. Nigar Nazar, CEO of Gogi Studios and the nation’s first female cartoonist, attended the event and praised the depth of storytelling in the exhibited works. She remarked that the display is a powerful example of how young women are leveraging art and technology to make a meaningful impact.

The thesis display featured a wide range of conceptual and experimental works, including projects in animation, game design, graphic design, video, textile design, and web design. The event celebrated both individual creativity and collaborative innovation among the students.

These projects were supervised by Ms. Sidra Ashraf, head of the Department of Computer Arts, along with Ms. Zarin Gul, Ms. Tehmina Javaid, Ms. Darakshan Batool, Ms. Afshan Jamal, Ms. Kinza Yasmeen, and Ms. Durraj Nadeem, with assistance from external supervisors. The exhibition reflected the university’s vision of promoting critical thinking and advancing the future of digital arts in Pakistan.
