The FOSPAH KFUEIT Ambassadors, in collaboration with IHA and under the supervision of Mr. Waheed Shahzad, held their inaugural introductory session at KFUEIT on 21 November 2025. Ambassadors Syeda Areesha Aziz and Noor Fatima presented an overview of FOSPAH KFUEIT, outlining the organisation’s mission and its commitment to ensuring safe, respectful and dignified workspaces across educational institutions.
Huzaifa Rehman delivered a moving address on women’s empowerment and the importance of challenging restrictive societal norms, urging students and faculty alike to take collective responsibility in creating safer, more equitable environments. His remarks stressed that awareness and shared action are essential to long-term change.
Guest speaker Ms. Talia Sundas, Advocate High Court, offered a legal perspective on workplace harassment and explored the growing challenges of digital harassment and cyberbullying. She highlighted legal remedies and protective mechanisms available under law, advising attendees on practical steps to document incidents and pursue remedies.
Esteemed guests including Sir Waheed Shehzad, Ms. Ishrat Ramzan, Ms. Hafiza Saba and Ms. Roomiha Shahzad attended the session and participated in the certificate distribution ceremony, lending additional weight to the launch and encouraging wider institutional support for the initiative.
The session closed with a poignant poem by Hamna Jawad that captured themes of dignity, resilience and the ongoing struggle against harassment. The organisers expressed appreciation to all participants and contributors, describing the event as a promising start to the FOSPAH KFUEIT ambassadors’ efforts to advance legal awareness and safer campus cultures.
