FPCCI meeting hosts Trade and Development Authority delegation to boost trade ties, address business challenges, and plan overseas exhibitions.

The FPCCI meeting at the federation’s regional office in Lahore brought together a delegation from the Trade and Development Authority led by Chief Executive Faiz Ahmed and Secretary Shaharyar Taj with President Atif Ikram Sheikh of the Federation. Senior officials from both organisations joined the discussions to strengthen cooperation and coordination for trade promotion.

Federation leadership attending the session included vice president Zain Malik, Zaki Ijaz and Chair of the Capital Office Kareem Aziz Malik, along with other senior representatives. The presence of multiple stakeholders underscored the shared commitment to address the concerns of the local business community.

Participants used the FPCCI meeting to highlight pressing issues facing businesses, focusing on ways to simplify trade processes, resolve operational bottlenecks and enhance communication between public and private sectors. Emphasis was placed on practical coordination measures that can help exporters and traders access new markets more effectively.

President Atif Ikram Sheikh stressed the significance of foreign exhibitions and urged greater, more effective participation by Pakistani businesses. Delegates engaged in a detailed exchange on future plans and collaborative steps to promote exports, improve market access and develop targeted initiatives that respond to the needs of the business community.
