The Pakistan Education Foundation has organized a free, one-day medical camp in Islamabad for underprivileged and deserving patients, with hundreds of children and women receiving check-ups and medical care. The initiative underscores the foundation’s ongoing commitment to community welfare and education.
Chairman Dr. Shafqat Ali Janjua, while inaugurating the camp, emphasized that healthy citizens are the foundation of a healthy society and called on everyone to contribute to the progress of the country. He highlighted that the Pakistan Education Foundation has been operating for four decades, driven by its mission and objectives, and urged national and provincial leaders within the organization to actively participate in educational and welfare activities nationwide.
Dr. Shafqat Ali Janjua also praised Dr. Arshad Arain and Dr. Maryam Jameel, who volunteered their medical expertise during their visit from abroad, making comprehensive check-ups for hundreds of children and women possible at the camp.
Senior Vice Chairman Muhammad Latif Qureshi, Secretary Nadeem Ahmed Chaudhry, Publicity Secretary Dr. Muhammad Afzal Babar, Rawalpindi-Islamabad Convener Dr. Ehsan Mahmood, Secretary Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, Madam Zeba, Madam Farida Yasmin, Hafiz Muhammad Arshad, and other members also visited the medical camp. They expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and suggested holding more such welfare programs in the future.
Dr. Janjua extended his gratitude to the local community and medical team, whose collaboration ensured that free healthcare services could reach hundreds of women and children.
