Students at Government College University Lahore transformed climate concern into tangible projects during COPinMyCity 2025, showcasing the energy and creativity of a new generation of climate champions. In collaboration with EPA Punjab and the Environment Protection Society, the university staged an event that moved awareness into locally relevant action.
Exhibits ranged from vibrant poster art that captured community-focused messages to detailed 3D models illustrating renewable energy systems and resilient urban design. The COPinMyCity entries envisioned cities powered by clean technologies and practical resilience measures, reflecting how student-led ideas can inform municipal planning in Punjab.
The collaboration underlined the role of academic institutions in supporting Clean Green Punjab goals and connecting grassroots innovation to broader climate discussions ahead of COP30 Brasil. Participants left with renewed motivation to pilot sustainable solutions at the neighborhood level and to continue translating creative concepts into on-the-ground impact.
