Her Excellency Ms. Ina Lepel, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Pakistan, visited the TEVTA Centre of Excellence at the Government Staff Training College in Mughalpura, Lahore accompanied by a delegation from the TVET Sector Support Programme (SSP) including Ms. Maria Van Kruijssijk and Mr. Mansoor Zeb Khan.
The delegation was received by Chairman TEVTA Brigadier Muhammad Sajid Khokhar SI(M) Retd along with DG Aamir Aziz, Sheraz Lodhi and senior officers. Chairman TEVTA provided an overview of TEVTA Punjab while Director Training Amber Chattah detailed the activities and facilities of the Centre of Excellence at Mughalpura.
During the visit the Ambassador inspected the Female Block classrooms and GTTI training rooms and took part in a tree planting ceremony on the CoE premises. The on-site tour highlighted practical training modules and the role of the centre in improving employability for young people in Lahore and the province.
The meeting underscored ongoing collaboration between Pakistan and Germany to expand technical education and industrial training under the TVET Sector Support Programme. Continued cooperation at TEVTA Mughalpura aims to strengthen skills development and create pathways to employment for Pakistani youth.
