The event demonstrated renewed support for the Billion Tree Afforestation Support Project (BTASP), an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable forestry and improving livelihoods through community-driven restoration efforts.
BTASP is designed to restore forested areas in KP province, supporting environmental sustainability while creating job opportunities for local communities. By engaging residents in conservation and reforestation activities, the project seeks to foster long-term environmental health and economic growth. German and Pakistani officials reiterated their commitment to deepening cooperation on environmental issues, further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
