At the 13th All Pakistan Camp Guides were pushed into survival mode with a hands-on challenge to devise practical tools from limited materials, testing creativity and on-the-spot problem solving.
The Pakistan Girl Guides Association National Headquarters described the session as an ultimate gadget making exercise where participants were urged to forget fancy gear and focus on improvisation. Emphasis on survival gadgets encouraged Guides to prioritise simplicity, safety and effectiveness while working under resource constraints.
The activity involved collaboration and friendly competition and was highlighted alongside partners including UNICEF Pakistan, the WAGGGS Asia Pacific region and NDMA, reflecting a shared interest in youth preparedness and resilience training.
