Government Appoints Two Members to Medical Tribunal

Government appoints two technical members to Medical Tribunal Islamabad for three-year terms to bolster tribunal capacity.

The Law and Justice Division has issued a notification announcing the appointment of two technical members to the Medical Tribunal in Islamabad, a move authorised by the Prime Minister under Section 4(4) of the Medical Tribunal Act, 2020. The appointments were formalised on November 17 by Section Officer Ali Haider Chattha.

Dr. Muhammad Amjad and Mr. Minhaj us Siraj have been named to serve as Member Technical (MP-II) for a term of three years, with their tenure to begin from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. The notification has been forwarded to the Printing Corporation of Pakistan for inclusion in the Gazette of Pakistan, and copies were circulated to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of National Health Services, the Chairman Medical Tribunal, the Accountant General Pakistan Revenues, the Registrar Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Registrar Medical Tribunal.

The appointments are presented as part of government efforts to strengthen the operational capacity of the Medical Tribunal, reinforcing its role in adjudicating professional and regulatory matters within Pakistan’s medical sector and supporting Islamabad’s governance of health services.
